The Academy of Labor, Social Relations and Tourism, with the support of the USAID project "Improving the Efficiency and Accountability of Local Self-Government Bodies" ("HOVERLA"),has organized the VII pan-Ukraine scientific and practical conference "MUNICIPAL REFORM IN THE CONTEXT OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION OF UKRAINE: THE POSITION OF THE GOVERNMENT, SCIENTISTS, TRADE UNIONS AND THE PUBLIC", which will take place on August 25, 2023.

 The purpose of the conference is to form a unified vision of the directions of municipal reform in Ukraine in accordance with European principles and standards based on the comparison of positions on this issue of authorities, scientists and institutions of civil society, in particular, trade unions, associations of local autonomous bodies, public organisations, etc.

 The conference also presented the research of scientists, researchers of problems of local self-government, who were selected based on the results of the all-Ukrainian competition “The best scientific work on problems of municipal law”.

 The conference took place as part of the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine.

 Teachers and graduate students of higher educational institutions, scientists, representatives of state authorities and local self-government bodies, public and trade union figures, all those who care about the successful implementation of municipal reform in Ukraine in accordance with the principles and European standards are invited to participate in the scientific event.
